Where is Adam Mayes? Wife and Mother Arrested in Kidnapping Case

Where is Adam Mayes and the two surviving daughters of Jo Ann Bain? While the man is on the run and considered armed and dangerous, his wife and mother have been arrested by authorities in Mississippi in direct connection with this case. This breaking update is bringing the FBI and other detectives a step closer to finding the 12 and 8-year-old daughters of the slain Tennessee woman.

Teresa Mayes is the wife of fugitive Adam Mayes, and along with his mother Mary Mayes, she has been arrested. Teresa admitted to authorities that she drove Mayes, Jo Ann Bain and her three daughters to the very property in Mississippi where the woman's body was located along with the remains of her 14-year-old daughter.

Neither Adam's mother nor wife appear to know his whereabouts or the whereabouts of the two young daughters of the slain Tennessee woman, but it's reported that they did in fact witness him digging a hole on the property on the 27th of April, the day the woman and her daughters were reported missing.

Authorities acknowledge that at least one of the women were aware of the bodies buried on the property in Mississippi. If this is true, then whether only one or both of them are aware, they should face a similar punishment as Mayes if and when this ever goes to trial.

Mayes is currently on the run; whereabouts unknown. He may have changed his appearance and altered the appearances of the two youngest daughters of Jo Ann Bain.

How connected are these two women?

It's unsettling to imagine that a wife and mother of a potential murder suspect would cover for the guy. They helped in transporting his victims and they even watched him dig the hole. It's highly likely that both women were present during the murders. It may even be speculated that one or both of the women may have assisted in more than just driving him and his captives.

Hopefully investigators can get more information out of these women, who apparently have no care for the lives of a young mother and her children. To help a man do any of this is simply unforgivable. May justice prevail.
