Have Miley Cyrus's fans lost faith in the former Hannah Montana star's celebrity status? She hasn't done anything big in a while and is fast being usurped by boyfriend Liam Hemsworth's popularity.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Miley is sorely disappointed that her latest film, LOL, has been deemed a flop. It only got the green light for a limited opening, and when that happens, it's a sign it will soon go down the proverbial drain. But does that mean Miley's going with it?
It is kind of sad that Miley's fans didn't step up to the plate and actively support the actor and singer when LOL debuted--albeit in its limited cities--this past weekend. Sadly, it doesn't seems as though any of them came out, because the film only netted a paltry $46,500 in box office sales. Of course it was incredibly poor planning on behalf of the producers to put it up against The Avengers debut weekend. That all but doomed it from the very beginning.
If Miley Cyrus were to get the X Factor gig it might actually provide her with a bit more credibility as a star, and her fans with a bit more reason to treat her like one.
Do you think Miley's fans are soon to go completely by the wayside? Her Hannah Montana fans have likely grown up and are wanting to see something from a more grown Miley Cyrus. Sadly, all they've been getting lately are Pilates updates and lots of side boob slips.
