My daughter, son-in-law and grand daughter are coming to Dinner tonight, so I figured I'll make them their favorite dish.
When I went to Meijers last week I had bought the Goulash mixes and the Spaetzle, so I only had to get the Stew meat yesterday.
Ingredients:
3 lbs. of Stew meat
3 packs of goulash mix
4 1/2 cups of water
salt n pepper to taste
1 med finely chopped onion
500 gr. of Spaetzle ( not quite a pound ) or you can use 1 lbs of egg noodles

Cut the stew meat into 1" cubes and saute in app. 2 Tbls of oil until lightly browned. Take out of the pot and saute the Onion.
I put everything into my Crock pot and added 4 1/2 cups of water and 3 packs of the goulash mix, stirring it in real good so it won't clump.

Set the Crock pot for 6 hrs. on low, check frequently to make sure it's not get too thick. If so the add a little water at a time, but don't make it too thin.
Cook the spaetzle in salted water w/ a Tblsp. of oil until done. Drain and add 1 tblsp. of Butter and mix up.
Put spaetzle on the plate and spoon goulash over to, serve with a nice crisp salad or vegetable of your choice.
Enjoy!!!
Will post pics of the finished product tonight, lol!
