The door to the new world of smart phone competition has been opened by Samsung as it reveals the long waited successor of their Galaxy S2, the new Samsung Galaxy S3. It’s the technology of the future that was tagged “Designed for Humans and Inspired by Nature.”
The new Galaxy S3 is a promising device, as it shows bigger and smarter features that everyone will surely love.
The phone will come in two designs, marble white and pebble blue, and in three memory sizes, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. It has slick curves and although it’s relatively bigger than the Galaxy S2 it perfectly fits in your hands.
The new S3 will run on the so-called Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS (version 4.0). Over that, this new smart phone is packed with a lot of new features that are all worth looking forward to. The Smart Stay feature solves most users’ problems with the auto dim. This feature makes use of the front camera to detect if someone is looking at the screen. If it recognizes a face, the screen won’t dim.
Another neat feature that the new Galaxy S3 has is the call out feature. If you receive a text message saying “Call me right away” and you want to respond to it immediately, you don’t have to exit the message view or go to options to call the sender. Just bring up the phone to your ears with that message open and the phone will dial the number for you.
The pop up play feature is also a decent addition and will prove to be very convenient to those who want to watch movies or clips with their phones. If the user receives a text message while watching a clip on the Galaxy S3, you don’t have to pause or stop what you’re watching. Just tap on the pop up play feature and it will reduce the window size of the clip. It will then allow the user to tap on the message, read, and reply to it while the movie just keeps on playing right on the screen.
Taking and sharing photos has made even better with this new smart phone. Using its 8-megapixel camera, you can use it for burst shots and take several pictures in a matter of seconds. What’s even better is with the best picture feature the phone will pick its suggestion of which photos are the best among the recently taken pictures.
If you want to share photos, audios, or movies to another Galaxy S3, you don’t have to turn on your Bluetooth, or use a network connection for file sharing. With the S Beam feature just open the file that you want to share, touch the backs of the two phones together and the file will be shared.
There may be a lot of features that Samsung has yet to unveil on this new smart phone. But for sure, it won’t be a long wait until we get our hands on this Galaxy S3.
