Hello everyone. Welcome to Norma’s Café , a place that never closes, is open 24/7. I’m taking care of Norma’s Café until Norma is well enough to get home and mind the counter. For those who might not know, Norma is very ill and is in long term care facility where she is now receiving therapy. At the same time Donald has been in a Houston hospital receiving treatment for kidney failure which for the time being has reversed itself, and he is improving. We must keep our prayers going for both of them. God is giving them little miracles. Praise Him.
It is cloudy here in Iowa where I am but the temps were at 60 at 7 am. We had a little shower earlier but I think that is it for rain today. My only plans are walking with my GF at the mall after lunch . I’m reading a mystery and will probably finish it when I get home.
The Decorah eaglets were all asleep when I first looked in but are starting to stir. They are fun to watch as they try to wake one another. A wing goes out to nudge the one beside the one eaglet. Now they are taking turns calling to the parents, who are no doubt nearby for breakfast. Hmmm! That didn’t work so they have put their heads together to hatch a new plan. They are growing rapidly and keep both Mom and Pop busy hunting for food. Mom just flew in for a minute to assure the “kids” that breakfast is coming and then off she went.
I have fresh coffee ready for you. The water is ready to boil for tea or cocoa and there are plenty of sodas, juices, milk and iced tea in the fridge. The kolaches from Sunday are gone so I’d better get to the kitchen and bake something. If you have anything to share it is appreciated. John, something with that good spring rhubarb would be good. Come on in and pull up a chair. What are you planning to do today? How was your weekend? Don’t forget to leave messages and prayers for Norma and Donald.
What can I get you to drink?

I'm going to do a quotes post and then head out to do my job at Walmart.
Glad to see reports of recovery for Norma and Donald and we continue to keep them in our prayers.
The Decorah eagles continue to fascinate me and so I pulled up their website to watch a couple of times lately. We have an eagle nest on a light pole in our parking lot at work and we can see the eaglets sometimes when they are near the edge, I think there are only 2 but time will tell.....
Thanks!
Since we got storms last night, the temps cooled off a tad. Now it is just sorta' hot and muggy, instead of definitely hot and muggy.
