Pastel Pink!

I love giving things new life!  I have a specific palette that makes me happy; soft pinks and golds are a big part of it.

 I bought a wrought iron candelabra for $2.00 at a yard sale.  The color was too dark for the living room.  So, I painted it with pastel pink paint, created some small rose rings from an old wreath I found in my mom's basement and added glass sconces I had in a box that were used at my wedding.  The tea-lights were gifted from my sis who sells Party-lite.  Not too bad for a few bucks!  :)

A bargain price and it came out fantastic. A smart lady to not pay what the famous designers chagre for this stuff.

I do have quite a bit of things I have transformed. I painted my black bookcase last month an creamy antique white. I will be working on our tv hutch next. I also painted my black mirror an antique gold last night while watching a movie. I find it so relaxing when my paintbrush is in my hand!

really? Pink makes my heart sing. It reminds me Spring.. all year round. I like a baby soft pink.. nothing bold.

I am one of the odd ones, I don't care for pink or purple. I like green, black, burgundy (or barn red) some browns and some blues

I am not a fan of purple either. burgundy is really nice when paired with gold... warm colors. blue always makes me sad unless I am looking at the ocean.
