Ban foie gras! Or else!

Ban foie gras! Or else! This according to animal rights groups. First we must define what foie gras is.

Foie gras is the live of a duck that has been fattened so that it grows up to 10 times its size for the purpose of eating the delicious delicasy, but enter animal rights groups who call the practice of gavage, fattening the live of a duck on purpose, cruel.

Now, enter the chef of California. Oh, did I not mention this is happening in California? Well surely I was remiss. Anyway, I digress.

So should we ban foie gras? What the animal rights people are really concerned with is banning eating any animal. If the animal is meant for foie gras, than it's dead anyway. So the battle over to foie gras or not to foie gras continues.

Did you detect some mockery here? I only wrote this article, so I could find out what foie gras is!Â

Don't they realize that all of our animals and poultry are purposely fattened up to eat?

I don't think I would like to be force fed, esp. to fatten my liver. Seems like that would hurt. Keeping in mind that what ever is being done to animals efffects our health also.
