Questions can be asked back and forth, and solutions offered to what may have seemed to be an unsolvable problem.
Catharsis is another good way to utilize anger management activities because it gives you the chance to get everything that is bothering you out of your system; and one of the best forms of catharsis is what is called trauma writing. You focus on yourself, let your feelings flow, and put down on paper all the things that are making your anger level rise, and explore the things that push your buttons and why. Anything that has made you feel lost or betrayed or angry in the past can be recorded by you onto the paper, and dealt with openly.
Anger management activities come in many forms; some involving just you and the source of the anger in a one on one situation; other activities may involve a group with a solution unique to the group involved; and still other activities would be you alone with a pen and a journal so you can vent the anger and emotion you are feeling, harmlessly onto the pages of the journal and release the build up of stress and emotion that is inside you. The idea is to keep writing until you feel a sense of relief and release, and that way you know you have accomplished your mission and the anger is gone.
