Interestingly, the captain of the hockey team was PAID to take part AND has played/worked in Spain for at least 10 years. You would think that his patriotism would have caused him to waive a fee!!!! The argentinian hockey team wouldn't even BE in the Olympics if the South Africa team hadn't withdrawn!

This is horrible.

You don't know the half of it Betty. Argentina has been blockading the Falkland's Islands and being a bully to the three thousand British people who live on those Islands for years. They invaded thirty years ago and we went down a fought a vicious short but bloody war where we kicked them of the islands and freed our citizens from one of the most vicious dictatorships in that part of the world.

In addition, they still do not have the message that the Falkland's Islands have nothing at all to do with Argentina. Now they pull this stunt. However this has backfired in spectacular fashion as no person desecrates a war memorial. The video has gone viral now with twitter an Facebook.

Appalling and very sad to see.

Logically and emotionally The Falkland Islands should stay British since its people want to be British! Self-determination should come before tawdry political machinations!

They just cannot help themselves with the lies it is as if its second nature with them. Never mind the first bit about her saying that the Athlete did not mean to offend anybody. We all know he did it for just that reason. However, the bit about all the summits that they go to. At the last one two weeks ago their president threw a hissy fit an came home early saying, it’s a waste of my time coming here.

In addition, why was that? Because everyone else who was at that summit would not let her waffle on about Argentina's claim over the Falkland's. Everyone is heartedly sick to the back teeth of her an Argentina coming to these summits that Latin America has and her telling out and out lies. They are deceitful, bitter, and they lack integrity, decency or honour.
