Got ants? Don't want ants?

The annual battle against ants in my kitchen has started up again.

A good friend told me to try this:

Wipe down the kitchen counters with vinegar, and leave the vinegar on them.

The smell takes some getting used to, but the ants don't like it, either.

I still get a few scouts here and there, but I no longer have the endless trrails of marching insects on my kitchen counters.

Thank you.. I use vinegar for a lot of things. The smell dissipates .

I tried that and it didn't work for me. Talcum powder seems to, though.

orange oil works, too -- I got an all-purpose cleaner that contains orange oil, and it's like magic
