Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are no closer to being divorced even though their lawyers met in court on Friday. What do you suppose is the big hold up?
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kim's lawyer believes that personal feelings are playing much too big a role in the whole divorce process.
"I feel that (Humphries') personal feelings and maybe some media drive is keeping this case alive," Laura Wasser said. She also added that the couple is eligible for a divorce because it's been more than six months since Kim filed divorce p
apers.
Kris Humphries' legal team is still seeking an annulment rather than a divorce, and they claim that they have evidence showing the entire marriage was nothing but a fraud.
Both sides have been ordered by the judge to return to court on August 15th for a status hearing.
"Certainly, they've been separated longer than they've been married," Kim Kardashian's lawyer added.
