Grey's Season 8 Episode 23 "Migration" Promo
While not everyone's excited about the residents possibly leaving Seattle Grace, there's at least one person looking forward to seeing what else is out there besides Seattle—and it's not one of the residents. How will that affect one of their decisions? Meanwhile, there has been a lot of drama in Owen and Cristina's relationship this season. With her possibly leaving soon, will they reconcile?
The Grey's Anatomy season 8 episode 23 promo for "Migration" (below) begins with Meredith and Cristina celebrating that they passed their boards. However, Meredith isn't planning to go anywhere. Even though her first choice was Boston, she's apparently changed her mind. She's decided they're staying. Derek's seriously considering Harvard's offer, though. He needs to tell them by the end of the day whether he'll accept their offer, and it's a good one: "They want me to run the entire neurosurgery program." He'd be set if they moved. Will he convince her to leave Seattle behind in the end, or will she convince him to turn down the offer?
Meanwhile, there's what's going on with Cristina and Owen. Places want her, and she's basically going to be able to pick wherever she wants to go. Owen asks her what that choice will be. They're not going to just be talking in this episode—will they talk about what they need to, or just Cristina's future?—they'll also be kissing, which, based on what was shown in the previous promo with them lying down together, was bound to be coming. But what will this mean for their future? Will Cristina make her decision with Owen in mind? Is this going to be part of their goodbye as she plans to leave Seattle behind?
