HA~I Got Kicked Off MTV!!!

Well, more like silenced...I don't comment a lot on the site, nor do I visit that often~most of what MTV has to say is inane crap. But, obviously the censor gods there had a problem with one of my rare comments because this is the message I got today when I tried to log in:

 

Sorry, you are ineligible to join MTV.

 

I've received no notice, so I'm not sure what it was I said that got their ire. But, they were still sending me their newsletters (which I promptly unsubscribed to), so go figure! I tried to contact them, but saw no link to do that. The only thing I can think of is I was critical of a certain celeb, but I didn't resort to name-calling. I've seen "Ho" statements used many times, so that's a clue to the MTV site mentality. Oh well, not my loss...


Note: Speaking of gods, once upon a time I worshiped MTV, but that was like 25 years ago~a far cry from what MTV has become!

I didn't want to get in more trouble using MTV's log, so I created my own on Tweak.com~fun site that I highly recommend!

I used to like MTV, back when they actually had music on there! :) I've never been to their site though. Strange they wouldn't at least tell you why.

MTV used be about music that was like you said so long ago. They should drop the M and replace it with a C.

You know it, Juan~back then I tended bar, so I had my mornings to myself & have great memories of just rockin' away the AM's!
It's still like a personal slap in the face. What's the deal with them? If what you said is so light you can't figure out what it was ??????

At least you should get to slap back :)

I think I may have criticized one of their writers, but like I said, I don't resort to name-calling & stuff, but I do call it like I see it!
I remember MTV when they actually played music and before it turned it to the crap nowadays.

I'm not, but I wish they had made reference to my offending comment. MTV is its own channel, but they also have a website like every TV program out there.

Ah ha! I also thought they were a pretty liberal program. It must have been baaaaad what you said or maybe it's a glitch in their system that is just randomly canceling out people. LOL!

after the advent of MTV2 and then all the tv shows as opposed to music videos the internet and reality tv swept MTV under the rug and there programming became less effective to the demographic base. It's unfortunate state of affairs.
