As Phillip Phillips has been my favorite since his first audition, I am thrilled he was safe again this week.
I also think Jimmy might want to consider getting out of the business after insinuating that Phillip's performances on Wednesdaynight, could mean "curtains" for him.
The judges over complimented Skylar on both of her performances as well. I thought she sounded pitchy with the Dusty Springfield song and I didn't care for her Fortunate Son performance either.
As long as it isn't Phillip that goes, I'm okay with the rest of them being eliminiated. They will probably all do well whether they win or lose.
But like the year David Cook won, I rooted for him from the beginning to the finale, I'll do the same for Phillip Phillips.
Skylar will be successful. She's extremely talented and country music is huge. I wish her good luck, and I wish good luck to Phillips for the rest of the season of American Idol.
