How old is your child? What time is their bedtime? How do you deal with them if they refuse to sleep? How do you get them to sleep?

I will add that if you get into a routine and stick to it that will sometimes help... bath and brushing teeth and reading a book right at bedtime etc.. Good luck.
What I would do with the others on school nights was tell them they could take a bath before tv then they had to go to bed or they could watch tv then take a bath and then go to bed. They were so focused on making a choice and feeling empowered, I didn't have a problem with them going to bed. It was strange in away because they decided the order of it, and then would follow through. Summers or holidays I would let them stay up...
Two is an excellent age for helping. Lil Keith does very good at helping. We just have to make sure he has his equal time with us too. He still feels left out at times but we do try to make it up to him. I would suggest you wait til two and see how the "terrible 2's " are. Trust me every child has a terrible 2. Thank goodness Lil Keith's has not been that bad. He will be 3 in September.
