Comp Back

Just got my comp back after nearly a week of being out. My friend had to repair the charging unit, cleaned 145 viruses - some were boot level and had turned off the virus scans. I even had the virus that would have disabled the internet in July that I wrote about.

On top of that, the viruses had corrupted the registry. I am just glad everything is working now.

Good thing you know someone that could fix that for you. I have picked up a lot of viruses on Gather and helium.

Mom hadn't updated her comp in a while. The main virus - the boot sector one - was a Java virus. Not having Java updated was the reason it was able to enter.

My comp is still out of service, I am waiting for Toshiba to send me the package to ship back to them. It was broken at Mayo when they cleaned my room. It was working when I left the room and then wouldn't after - and it shorted out the charger when I plugged it in. Something bad happened.
