I saw you last time, had to search

To find you hiding there but now I lurch

In dreams and can’t escape

This watchful stare.

 

Okay, it probably doesn't fit the prompt, but it's 25 words, and Harry just might have had more than enough of snakes. Does he really want to see another one at the zoo?

Harry Potter movies have a lot of snakes in them. Sometimes they are really really big ones. He probably dreams about them every night .... LOL! Nice snake poem.

Although we have plenty of poisonous snakes here in Western Australia and Mag is always cautioning me that this is not Massachusetts, I have no dreams of snakes snaring me.

My hope was to keep you from having any of your worked turned down at gather Writing Essentials. I hope that I did not make you feel badly. You are a very talented poet and writer.

I've always been fond of the way humans take everything out of context. I was actually a wallaby that day and wore a snake's skin to hide my real appearance.
