Is dinner with George Clooney and Obama worth $40,000? Obviously, the President and George Clooney think so. What never ceases to amaze me about liberals is how they can charge such exhorbitant amounts of money and claim they are for poor people.

The $40,000 dinner will be at George Clooney's home in Los Angeles. Does anyone besides me see the President hobnobbing with the Hollywood elite wrong?

How can he claim to be a man of the people while the people can't eat with him unless of course you win the prized. He actually is holding  a contest whereby one of the "people" will get to eat with Obama and Clooney. Disgusting!

Obama only surrounds himself with people who applaude him. Come to dinner at my house, Mr. Obama. There will be no applause, but I would serve you a nice lasagna.

I respect Clooney's work as an actor, but I'd never pay to meet him. As for the Obamas, you'd have to pay me a whole bunch to get near them because I'd say something and end up in jail for the rest of my life.

I think as long as you stopped at talking, and were legal being there, they couldn't lock you up just for complaining...unless they declared you a terrorist, and disappeared ya...

"Obama only surrounds himself with people who applaud him" is a great punch line for the ignorant, present company excepted, of course. But does anyone remember Obama speaking to the Republican Congressional get-together in his first year as Pres..I remember. He seemed a bit lonely, talking to a room full of sophisticated politicians who only wanted to fire him. But then, perhaps I am the only one that recalls that. Intellectual honesty is hard, unless your memory is selective, in which case, the term would be intellectual bigotry. Congrats!

... This is the problem with Our Government. Actually Washington has become The New Parliament and extension of English Antiquity. It is all about the Rich, for The Rich, and only the Rich. This should be a lesson for all of us Slave Class.. no matter if it is a Democrat, Republican, Independent or Libertarian; they all indulge in things such as this.

I keep getting e-mails from Barry asking me for $3.00 to join him and George for dinner. I send my regrets because that's just too much money for dinner partners like them!
