On the morning of Halloween, 2011, We discovered that someone pulled up in front of our house and took two dogs, one-by-one, from their trunk and physically threw them into our front yard on the hard cement driveway area. We knew what this person did by reviewing our CCTV after we found both these little guys hiding under my wife's PT Cruiser.
Because we were unable to financially, care for them (we had two dogs and two cats at that time), we had to search for a rescue place to take them and find them good homes.
It was quite evident that they had been together for some time, so the rescue agency and my wife and I prayed that both dogs could go to the same home.
Well, it took five months, but prayers are answered, and although they didn't exactly go to the same family, they did get adopted by twin sisters who live next door to each other, and do not have a fence separating their back yards.
It was a win-win for Snowball and Blizzard [the names we gave them when we found them], and the two of them still have each other while having their own separate family too.
Praise God for feel good endings, and answered prayers.Â

It is so astounding that God cares so very much, even about abandoned dogs, that He was able to work this out so perfectly. You need to know that we found the rescue person quite by mistake. Her and her group took extra care to see these little balls of white hair went to the same home, or something very close to the same home.
The following verse does in fact apply to each of us who go to Him in faith believing:
"Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good."
