2012 Planet-Sun Alignment:Cause of Recent Earth Changes?

Recently many people have been worked up about the date that was set in the Mayan Calendar – December, 21st 2012 or 21.12.2012. Planetary Alignment and the Nibiru planet (aka planet X) makes millions of people contemplate all kinds of varied scenarios for the end of the world in 2012. Many kinds of different movies have been made to show you what might happen: "2012", “Day after tomorrow”, “2012 Doomsday” and bunches more. All of those movies create their own scenario of how the world will end in 2012. There are also those who claim that all “end of the world” 2012 predictions made by Mayans, Nostradamus, the I-Ching, Rev. Richard Gilbert, Psychic Edgar Cayce and many others are true. Even Holy Bible has the prophecy of the Apocalypse or Doomsday! Is it all for real?

So what will really happen on 21.12.2012? Are we all going to die and become extinct? Will it be the apocalypse that is described in the prophecies of Holy Bible? Will it destroy all people and living creatures on Earth and the earth as we know is it going to end Dec. 21 2012? Why is it all happening? There is not much time left till December 21st, 2012 and maybe this is something we should look at.

Do you remember Y2K and the end of the world in the new millennium? Is it going to be the same type of proverbial scam since some people are just trying to make some bucks on the 2012 end of world theories by publishing books, making movies and websites?

First, we do have to admit that there are all sorts of 2012 predictions and prophecies! Some, referring to the end of the Mayan Calendar in Dec. 2012, say that it will be the worlds end and every living thing will vanish from the Earth, others blindly believe in the World War III predicted by Nostradamus and other oracles and seers. There are also those who believe that during the time of Planetary Alignment around 21st December, 2012 the worm hole to the New Age will be opened and people will gain super powers after the quantum leap.

However NASA disagrees with a planetary alignment at all in 2012? To explain all of that, there is one commonly known concept: NASA has been known to spread disinformation. We cannot trust world governments to tell us the truth either. So who or what can we turn to for real answers?

We have to look at the signs and listen to that still small voice with-in each one of us known as instinct or intuition. We have to look at all the offered up information from all sides of the spectrum. Then decide for ourselves if we are in fact headed toward a cataclysmic END. However below we can observe the differed beliefs from NASA to the Seer.

Q: How do NASA scientists feel about claims of pending doomsday?
A: For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, where is the science? Where is the evidence? Since the Mayan calendar is based on cycles (read our article on How Does the Mayan Calendar Work to learn more), December 21, 2012 merely indicates the end of a cycle that began on August 11, 3114 BC. While there are wild interpretations as to what this date means, and many holiday resorts are booked out on this day, there is no evidence from any Mayan literature suggesting that the world will come to an end.

It is simply the end of the current Long Count, and December 22, 2012 will be the beginning of the next Long Count, or cycle in the Mayan calendar. In fact, the Mayans have names for the Long Counts, and the fact that they've named Long Counts beyond this one suggests that this won't be the last. The equator of the Milky Way galaxy (Galactic Equator) and the path of the Sun (the Ecliptic) will cross each other at exactly 11:11 am GMT on December 21, 2012. What does this mean exactly? Or, even better, what is the probability of this occurring?

Every year on the winter solstice, our Sun has a Declination of -23.5 degrees, and a Right Ascension of 18 hours. But what makes the alignment of 2012 special is how this alignment occurs relative to very distant stars. On December 21, 2012, the alignment will be right along the plane of the entire galaxy. This precession of the equinoxes goes in a complete circle and happens only once every 26,000 years. In other words, the winter solstice moves 360 degrees every 26,000 years, or 0.01 degrees each year.

A significant detail that promoters of the 2012 doomsday fail to point out, however, is that the plane of the galaxy is not the width of a needle. The plane of the galaxy is quite wide - in fact, it takes the winter solstice between 700 hundred and 1,400 years to cross the plane of the galaxy! Galactic Alignment 2012 The Maya Calendar Dark Rift Conjunction - Not Alignment with Galactic Centre

On December 21st 2012 the Long Count Calendar used by the ancient Meso-American peoples such as the Maya, Aztec, Toltec and Olmec will end one great cycle of 13 Baktun (5125.26 years). The creators of this system were able to calculate and track interesting cycles of nature such as solar eclipse galactic alignment and planetary conjunctions.

The length of sub-cycles matched natural cycles such as human gestation local snakes shedding their teeth as well as the number of human digits and major joints. They understood the orbits of the observable planets and knew the lengths of each ones journey around the sun. The minds behind this system gave birth to some 24 separate calendar systems capable of tracking both astronomical and non-astronomical cycles within nature.

The winter solstice of 2012 will occur at 11:11 GMT on of course 21-12-2012 the same day the Long Count flips over. On that morning the sun will appear to rise into the patch of sky we refer to as the galactic centre or nuclear bulge. It is the location of the super-massive black hole at the centre of rotation for the Milky Way galaxy.

In itself the appearance of the sun rising here is not a particularly unique event. The phenomena can be observed for winter solstice dates of numerous years either side of 2012. The only interesting new aspect of this year will be the sun appearing to just touch one part of the Dark Rift (Great Rift) that snakes its way along the Galactic Equator. This is an area of the night sky considered important to Maya cosmology most notably with respect to spiritual rebirth mythologies. By viewing the images you can see for yourself that there is no special alignment of the Planets predicted for the 21st of December of 2012. In fact, the planets are dispersed all over the sky on that day. There is no planet alignment of any sort that I can see? Or an I miss calculating?

Web-bots have allegedly gotten in on the 2012 end of world prediction game? These bots are similar to the "spiders" or web crawlers that scan the internet for keywords to index sites for engines. This particular version of this web crawler software was designed a decade ago to forecast future events by tapping in to the collective "wisdom of the masses." In its original use, the program predicted the performance of the stock market. Proponents credit the program with foreseeing the September 11 terrorist attacks and the 2004 tsunami. Allegedly reports from The Telegraph, the bots have predicted the end of the world on the SAME DAY of which the Mayan calendar has forewarned for thousands of years, December 21, 2012. However the Bots have predicted POLAR SHIFT.

With all the changes in weather and the oceans could the bots be correct and that the sun moving in alignment with the Galaxy center is actually the culprit of Climate Change on earth. Climate change isn't a new thing. Before the industrial age and all this so called Man Made Global Warming there are records of some of the hottest temperatures throughout many countries. In 1958 and 1959 we in America had record breaking spring and summer temperatures.

My opinion is this. I do not believe that Dec 21 2012 will be the End of the world, however I do believe that some type of Global change is going to occur. I believe we will experience a new age of climate changes that are earth sun climatic and that man-womankind will continue their decline in moral and ethical values. I foresee that there are going to be shortages in water and food supply due to overpopulation on earth. I see a new era of economic and territorial wars. I see man-womankind extincting themselves by 2025, and that, will be that.
