Amanda Seyfried appears to be doing it all these days. She is an international name, has acted alongside the biggest actors of the decade, and still manages to slip under the radar most of the time. Seyfried has done comedy (Mama Mia! and Jennifer's Body were both funny, admit it), romance (Letters to Juliet and Dear John), action ( In Time), thriller (Red Riding Hood), and now she is starring in a biopic, Lovelace. Granted, this biopic is definitely different from any of her other roles - not because it may not be funny or won't be a thriller, but because Amanda Seyfried will be portraying Linda Boreman, better known by her stage name Linda Lovelace, the international porn star who rose to fame in the 1970s.
The movie poster for the upcoming flick was finally released, and it does not disappoint. Seyfried is shown with '70s style hair, a red lacy bra, and a sheer robe slipping off of her shoulders. Sexy indeed. And a completely different role for Amanda. From the looks of the poster, she is sure to pull it off. As for how much the movie will show, it is rated R, but it is doubtful that what is does show will actually be Seyfried. The producers will most likely use a body double for any compromising scenes, especially since Linda Lovelace is most famous for her work in Deep Throat which may be a bit too risqué for the 26-year-old star. But you never know. Perhaps Amanda is willing to dive into every aspect of her character. But the only way to find out, is to watch the movie when it hits theatres later this year.
