A huge THANK YOU to all who tried to help us with the photo contest!

In case you don't remember, I had tried to get as many Facebook likes for my hubby's photo as possible. Read about it here.

The aim was to have a photo that deals with soda cans as these have become almost extinct here in Germany ;-)

The first price was €1.000 ($1.300!!!), the second €500 and the third €300. Four to ten do get some kind of gift basket for €30.

I had promised hubby to activate ALL my wonderful online friends to get as many likes as possible. And I must say, all of you rock!

I got over 100 likes just from Gather, my Facebook friends and Triond.

But unfortunately, that was not enough.

Hubby had wished for buying a new special flash for his camera and when we would win the €1,000, we would go on a small vacation. The money would be enough for the flash plus one week for two in Turkey or Egypt *sigh*

So, 100 votes was not enough.

I invested into task websites like Microworkers, Rapidworkers and Minuteworkers and even started a task on Mylot.

We got over 500 likes/votes, but three others were better :-(

It really is sad that we have ranked number 4 because we had only 15 likes less than place three *sigh*

But I guess that's life, it wasn't meant to be...

Maybe the plane to Turkey would have crashed or the hotel would have been really horrible... or, or, or... whatever *lol*
