What's For Supper Ya'll? 5/1

Tonight we had City Chicken BBQ Casserole (it has pork not chicken). The recipe was from Favorite Brand Name Recipes Home-Tested Casserole Recipes. With that we had corn and a nice garden salad. I also made a loaf of bread today. It turned out very good.

Well tonight Kelsey got to actually play her 3rd softball game the first 2 was cancelled because of bad weather, so her 3rd game was her first anyway we had 5.00 pizza from our tasty freese cheese and green and red peppers I asked for green but there was red on it too and cheese and peperoni

yes she won and I she did okay being catcher and even got a couple runs when she batted.

IT sounds good. Today was an odd one for us....we didn't get to eat until after 8:30 pm....so Mike and Angela had hot wings and I had beef stew.

Yes the heat is beginning to be taxing here as well. I have been having lots more salads. It is getting too hot to use the stove and heat up the kitchen. I need to bring out my crock pot recipes again and start with them.

My MIL cooked hamburger steak, butter beans, potatos and gravy and biscuts.

The casserole sounds interesting although the term "city chicken" doesn't really bring pork or chicken to mind. I think of birds or animals likely to be found in cities. :)

Had leftover stew served cold. It was way too hot to eat anything heated. I learned that stew is ok cold but tastes better warm.
