Big Brother 14 will have some competition this summer. ABC has announced they will be debuting a brand new reality show called The Glass House on Monday, June 18. Like Big Brother 2012, The Glass House will feature a group of contestants who are locked up together inside a house and have their every move gawked at by a viewing audience while they compete for a quarter million dollars.
Unlike Big Brother 14, however, the competitors on The Glass House will have limited contact with the outside world. The viewing audience will have a chance to help their favorites with gifts of insight about the game from outside the house. Hmmm, kind of reminds me of the whole ‘sponsors’ thing in The Hunger Games…
Plus, viewers will vote on aspects of the game like what the players will eat, what they will wear, where they will sleep, etc. Voters will also help determine which contestants are sent home throughout the show and which eliminated contestants will be given a second chance to earn their way back into The Glass House.
