Wake me from my slumber

Shake me from this doubt

Give me strength to over come

All the pain within and without

I'm like a ticking time bomb

Waiting to implode

Barely breathing in and breathing out

Hanging in robotic mode

Taking chances not worth taking

Holding back what really counts

Making all the wrongful choices

Just hoping to find a way out
