 I am going to use this quote to introduce todays posts and photos. 

  1. Each of us have challenges of various kinds.  The  Writing Essential group give writers a challenge each day of the week.  Each challenge is a new opportunity for the writers in the group to build upon the skills they already posses. 
  2.  There are also many members in the gather community who challenge their boundries by perfecting the photos they take.  I have found one such person who has some photos posted that will make you want to go to his part of the world.

I received the following comment on the Today post Tuesday Edition:

"I had a hard day yesterday, but Today, I'm feeling Better. I have two more Days of testing again this week."

 

RedBird has not submitted a post since this one on May 5th. I am a bit worried about her.
RedBird has been having some medical problems for a few weeks now. She has finally got some of the test results back.

 

 

Sean is Home

Katryn D. husband Sean had his surgery and is now home.

Jan posted the following comment on the Tuesday Today on Gather post:
"I'm having surgery on May 23 to remove a brain tumor. I had a cerebral aneurysm repaired last November. I'd never have known about either of these if not for a car accident. God works in mysterious ways."
 

Jan has lots of wonderful posts submitted and you can drop a line on any of them to show her we all care about her.

Jan,

I just wanted you to know that I will be thinking of you on Wednesday. When do you have to check in at the hospital for this surgery?

Thanks, Connie! They won't give me a definite time until Tuesday, but I believe it will be at or before the crack of dawn. The surgery takes five hours, so an early start seems likely. I will be so glad to get it over with!

Great post, Connie. It took me forever to load the active X control so that I could post photos. This is the computer that I completely re-wrote the hard drive. Duh, I had to do it from the Administrator's log on.

Man, I hate it when I have computer problems. I have had to redo the hard drive on a couple computers before and it is a headache. I hate it and you never get back the things you lost in the process.

Hi Connie. I'm fit as a fiddle. I'm actually very healthy except for "hayfever" and it's that time of the year again. I'm one of those people who just doesn't get sick except about once every five years or so. Don't know why, it's always been that way and at my age "that's a good thing". I hope you are on the road to recovery and good health again soon. It's too expensive to be sick now days. Thank you for asking about my well being, I appreciate it.
