Obama compares a baby to a sexually transmitted disease and other oddities

Obama did NOT compare babies with Sexually Transmitted Diseases. He did say he would do all he could to prevent his daughters from becoming pregnant in their early teens or contracting an STD. Those are both American Values, Family Values, and totally rational expressions of concern coming from a caring father. He went on to say he would educate his daughters so that his fears would not be realized.

Leslie Stahl asked Jose Rodriquez if he gave Ensure and Ensure only as a means of breaking terror suspects. Jose Rodriquez said that was exactly why he gave them only ensure -- he did not say that prisoners on hunger strikes were force fed Ensure, though I believe they were. In other words, Jose Rodriquez said that prisoners were given ONLY Ensure to enhance interrogation.

I am not entirely familiar with the Mother who is a cancer survivor and stay at home mom, but I am familiar with the stay at home mom reference in regards to Mrs. Romney, and I am aware of a heartfelt and public apology from Hillary Rosen for implying that stay at home mothers do not work. What they don't do is earn a paycheck for their work and are dependent on some other person to provide for their needs. Another American Value by the way.

Michelle Obama is trying to educate the American Public to the dangers of Obesity and to ways to avoid the problem. Another Expression of compassion and American Values from a Member of the Obama household. He efforts have had an effect, but there has been zero mandating of change in school lunches from the White House, or Michelle herself. Basically she has said that being fat is not healthy, and it is possible to avoid or correct the problem.

Obama signed an executive order in compliance with the Patriot Act, which has been the law of the land for 11 years. That's his job -- enforcing FEDERAL law. By the way he's been quietly doing that in regards to illegal immigration for his entire term, and doing it better than ANY previous administration. Unlike Ronald Reagan, Obama has not asked for a blanket amnesty.
