After eight drama-filled seasons, Desperate Housewives comes to an end in a few weeks, leaving both fans and cast members alike emotional that the series is coming to an end. Now, Teri Hatcher opens up about her feelings about the finale, as well as what it is like behind the scenes as the conclusion draws near.
"We've had a lot of time to process it, so it's not a shock. But I think you just can't really know what it's going to feel like until it's over. Every day it gets to be a little more real," Hatcher told People Magazine.
That's surely how fans are feeling as well these days, with only three episodes (including tonight's) left before the show is gone for good.
This has been a suspenseful final season for Desperate Housewives so far, too, what with a murder investigation, the death of a beloved castmember and too many love stories to mention!
So will the end justify the means? Will Mike's death feel less shocking and horrible when all is said and done? Will Bree be vindicated, and will Tom and Lynette find their way back to one another?
Though none of those can be said for certain, Teri Hatcher does make it seem as though things will work out in the end.
"I feel like [the finale] does a pretty good job at honoring all the different characters and their sort of unique wheelhouses that they brought ... to Desperate Housewives," she explains.
What do you want from the finale? What would be a good ending for those of you who have watched the show from the beginning?
