I mentioned on a comment yesterday that Saturday is normally my biggest day and I earned only one point. My point count hasn't changed since then. Something's going on.

Somebody else wrote something about this point halt too. I don't keep track because of the obscure location in the top right hand corner, and I hardly ever go to my profile page which is why I also miss pings. But when I read that other post that mentioned this, I took note of my points sometime yesterday, and I see that they are still the same. It could be that they haven't been updated because of some glitch that won't be fixed until the regular staff gets back on Monday. However, if by Monday there is no change, I guess we can assume that they are withholding them for some other reason.

If nothing changes by monday morning, I suggest we write to Gather Support.

"Your Points were not frozen on purpose. Gather Points all across the site stopped updating on Friday due to a technical error. They should begin piling on again sometime today, if they haven't already."

Mine are at the same number as when I posted here last at this moment, though.

I think it's only fair to update further on the overwhelming generosity of Gather's point system and announce that I have had a point SURGE as we move "forward." In the last 28 hours, I have received 11 more points. Congratulations to me! Must be an answer to prayer.

The site is probably monitoring how the points are being accumulated with "CREATIVE SNEAKINESS"

I have 561 points...If someone knows how to transfer them (if that is allowed) they are welcome to them...

Makes folks wonder if the site is going broke or worse..... The quality appears to be going backward instead of forward? I've been here off and on since 2006 and it didn't used to be this way..... Member's gift cards were received within 14 days and often within 7-10 and decent upgrades, via member requests were done often.. They seem to have a decent amount of ads to bring in money. Dunno......
