It’s been a busy spring. I haven’t kept up with my online friends as well as I should, but I’ve kept to my fitness plan. My goal for the year was to lose a pound a week by walking and attending water aerobics a couple times a week. Most days I reach and usually surpass my walking goal. The hardest habit to break was to stop taking the elevator at school. I still use it, but not as much. On Tuesday of last week I even set a new personal record. I put in 19,232 steps.
Is it paying off? Yep! Actually I’m ahead, but not by much. Tomorrow starts the seventeenth week of the year and I’m down eighteen pounds. I only have thirty-four pounds to go.
