Bethenny Frankel may be proud of her success with the SkinnyGirl brand that she has created with the help of The Real Housewives of New York exposure, but her husband Jason Hoppy isn't so happy with her success when it comes to his own work. According to Hollywood Life, Jason and Bethenny have had some interesting talks about their life while they were vacationing in Mexico and he has told his wife that he resents her for all the success she has gotten with her brand and her name.
The website speculates that it is Bethenny's supposed net worth of $25 million that is causing some tension between Jason and her. While she isn't the cause of the tension, Jason is comparing all of his life successes to those of Bethenny Frankel and of course he is feeling a little frustrated. He isn't earning nearly $25 million in his corporate job.
"I'm 40-years-old and I'm frustrated that I haven't found it," he is caught saying on her television. "I don't feel threatened by what you're doing."
While he isn't actually saying that he resents Bethenny outright, that's how she is interpreting. In a clip for the upcoming episode, she is quoted as saying, "you're starting to resent me a little bit, you are" to which Jason admits that he is. "I'm trying to be [happy] but I feel like I'm being judged for the fact that I didn't make it," he answers.
It sounds like Jason doesn't see the role he has played in making SkinnyGirl a success. He has been the wheels that have kept Bethenny going all of these years, since she has been needing confidence boosts left and right. She should give him more credit for being the pillars for her.
