The NRA is targeted as a "billion dollar business" who believes that "porch monkeys deserve to die" in Chicago, where students were taught how to be activists during "Social Justice" week. The flyer for the week was posted, where events were scheduled throughout the week, including "non-violent protest training," LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) panel discussions ("Sarah loves going to schools to talk about [sic]issue that are important to teens such as healthy relationships, safe sex, and all things LGBTQ"), Occupy (which "explains how the Occupy movement connects with Chicago teens"), Empowering Undocumented Youth, The Dream Act (which would provide permanent residency to illegal aliens who graduate from high school), and a Gender Fluidity Discussion ("learn more about the difference between Gender / Sexual Identity"). The list of events and descriptions can be seen here.
The sponsors of the project included the Black Star Project, with is funded by the George Soros funded Open Society Foundations, Best Buy, ING and Toyota Motor Sales, among others, as reported by Breitbart.com.
Discouraging Second Amendment Rights
During Social Justice Week, a teacher in one video is shown actively discouraging students from endorsing laws that would allow citizens to have the right to carry weapons. She says to students at Jones College Prep, "Right now in Springfield, they are moving to pass conceal and carry so that everybody can carry guns. Are you all in agreement with that?"
A brave student replies, "I am. Because I think if you take away guns from regular citizens, the criminals and police are the only ones who have them..." The teacher interrupts the student by producing a list of victims of gun violence and explains that the victims did "are not able to carry a gun," yet they are the "the leading targets." The teacher brings up an example of a man who illegally purchased a gun, shot at a man, missed, and inadvertently shot and killed a 14-year-old, which actually supported the point made by the student (that criminals illegally access firearms).
The teacher then says that the judge and the National Rifle Association don't care. She continues, "The NRA is like, 'So what? We're just a billion dollar business. So what you have so many children dying on your streets. That's y'all problem. We're just making money." She said that the venerable 2nd Amendment Organization is only about making money and wants everyone to have guns "so they can go crazy."
The teacher even said that the National Rifle Association admits that they are "going to Hell for this" and that "these porch monkeys deserved to die." Clearly the message here is that the National Rifle Association only cares about profit, and even believes that African-Americans "deserve" to die. How can students ever overcome this horrible indoctrination if parents are not keenly aware of what is being taught to their kids?
The next teacher in the video is clearly teaching kids how to protest conceal and carry guns and suggests that they partake in a non-violent protest by putting a cemetery in their yards, representing victims of gun crime. He also agreed with a student that said there is "a system of apartheid in America." He goes on to say that even though many may think it is "equal" because "we can all go to school," and brings up a statistic of the number of black men in college, versus the number of black men in jail. He shouts, "We call ourselves Americans?" He said, "This could not be an accident," inferring that the system was deliberately putting African-American males in jail.
This story is not being reported in the mainstream media.
Not surprisingly, no opposing views were shared with the students. Watch the video and hear the rhetoric espoused by these "educators".
