Zayn Malik and Perrie Edward sparked dating rumors when they tweeted back and forth about watching The Avengers together, but it's hard to see them getting too serious - after all, they've probably already dated once, and Perrie once has a crush on Niall Horan.
NOW Magazine points out that the two stars might not get along because their taste in music is so different (Zayn loves Ne-Yo while Perrie is a fan o
f rock band Journey), but the Niall thing probably should be the real deal breaker for Zayn when it comes to the Little Mix singer - after all, how much can Perrie really like him if he's not even her favorite member of One Direction?
Maybe she and Zayn Malik hooked up again after their rumored romance in December because he kept begging her for a date or something. Just a few days ago Zayn poured his heart out in a somewhat sad tweet about falling in love with someone who doesn't return the favor, and maybe he was talking about his feelings for Perrie Edwards.
According to The Hot Hits, this is what she said about the rumors that she dumped Zayn after a short romance in December:
"It's ridiculous. How can I possibly have dumped someone that I barely even know? It's actually massively embarrassing - and he must be like 'What the hell?'"
It seems like she was doing her best to completely deny a romance back then, while she's openly tweeting to Zayn now. One Direction has become extremely popular all over the world since December, so perhaps the band's crazy new level of fame has made Perrie more interested in a relationship with Zayn - it would certainly help get her and Little Mix tons of publicity. She might also be using Zayn to get closer to her crush Niall Horan.
But while Perrie Edwards might not be all that into Zayn Malik, he obviously has a thing for her -- or at least he did back in December. When he was asked what his perfect date would be, and he said that he'd take Perrie out to Nando's. So who knows? Maybe he's been working hard to win Perrie's heart ever since they first met through The X Factor.
