Why shouldn't we celebrate Americans who have been able to become successful?

How can people back a president who disparages its own citizens? He's not only bashing Romney now, he's bashing successful Americans.

That's what commies do, you know. Stop whining about the rich and come up with an idea that will make you rich and successful.

Obama's fanbase is nothing but a bunch of whining green-eyed monsters.

I totally disagree with your comment Roryann O'Rourke. That is fine and dandy that people become successful, but at least the rich could pay the same income tax rates. I find it very frustrating that someone making $30,000/year pays a higher tax rate than Romney does. This last year he only paid a 13% income tax rate, while someone making $30,000/year paid 28%. How is that fair? It's not. Maybe you are one of the rich who pay only 13% tax rate, but I'm not.

They did not pay a 28% tax rate. That was a bold-faced lie produced for those who would lap it up and believe it.

Anyone who has held a job knows that the more money you make, the more money the government takes in taxes. If you received any type of raise doing that job, you know that when you go up into a higher tax bracket, you pay more taxes.

The Buffett secretary story was a lie.

I've never seen a president of the United States lash out at fellow Americans the way Obama does.

I'm sorry Roryann, but you are wrong. I was making $30,000 a year and was paying a 28% tax rate, so that is totally false what you are saying. Yes, you do get taxed more as you make more up to a certain point. Once you earn past $360,000, your income tax rate starts going down. Mitt Romney did indeed only pay 13% income tax last year and that is FACT.

It is obvious that your views are different than mine and we are always going to agree to disagree.
