For the second time today, Kate Middleton has thrilled the crowds at another official appearance. She is certainly proving she has what it takes to be the future Queen. This is Kate's third public appearance in the last 24 hours! She is certainly on a role! On Thursday morning, April 26, Prince William escorted Kate to a reception for the British teams who had recently completed the Scott-Amundsen expedition to the South Pole. The night before, she attended the premiere of the 'African Cats' film in support of another one of William's charities.
This evening, Kate stepped out wearing what must be one of her favorite colors, gray. This time, she donned a charcoal gray Amanda Wakeley dress that flattered her very thin frame. She added a black and gold belt, which accented her tiny waist. Catherine changed up her look by pulling her hair back in half-up, half-down style.
The Duchess of Cambridge is a fan of the designer and has worn her dresses in the past. In fact, she has worn this particular dress before, but it was in an oatmeal color. According to the folks who know at the What Kate Wore blog, the Duchess scooped up three dresses of the same design in different colors. She knows what looks best on her slender frame.
The dress is very simple, yet elegant and perfect for almost any occasion. It is lovely to see Kate Middleton stick to her classy style, without looking too frumpy.
