Niall Horan Admits That He Doesn't Wear Underwear Sometimes

Niall Horan has admitted that he enjoys going commando. Commence One Direction fans everywhere freaking out in 3...2...1...

Usually it's the female pop stars who ditch their drawers - bad girl singers like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan have been caught without panties while wearing skirts. But of course it's a lot easier for male stars to pull off the commando look since they rarely wear short dresses or skirts while getting in and out of cars. So for all anyone knows, other boy band members like Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter used to go without underwear all the time.

American readers need to keep this in mind: "pants" is the British/Irish word for underwear. This can be a bit confusing since trousers are called pants in the U.S.

While it might come as a shock to some that Niall doesn't always wear underwear, he's still not as "free and easy" as Harry Styles, who loves to run around naked. And maybe Niall doesn't just go commando for comfort - it's always possible that the guys in One Direction simply don't bring enough underwear with them when they're touring (meaning they all might have to go without drawers from time to time). But if Niall ever runs out and decides he doesn't feel like going commando, maybe Harry Styles can help him out - the mop-top has a ton of gay fans that send him signed Calvins all the time. Or if Niall gets really desperate, he could always grab one of the many pairs of panties that Directioners throw onstage.

Niall Horan better be careful - even though he's not wearing a dress, his pants (trousers) could rip while he's onstage, and a wardrobe malfunction like that probably would not please the parents of young One Direction fans.
