Bones season 7 brings Ryan O'Neal back in next week's episode 11, "The Family in the Feud," to meet his granddaughter, baby Christine, while Booth and Brennan will find themselves in the middle of, as the title implies, a family feud.
Season 7 Episode 11 "The Family in the Feud" Clips
In addition to the season 7 episode 11 promo (here) that teases the upcoming case and reveals that there are problems with the Jeffersonian daycare, there are a few new previews out which include Booth and Brennan dealing with needing a babysitter and some less than professional behavior at a crime scene.
In the first sneak peek (below), Booth and Brennan tell Sweets about their problems finding a babysitter after Christine was suspended from daycare. Booth suggests that Brennan's questions were to blame because they turned the parents against the staff. Though Booth tries to recover ("because you care so much about our daughter"), the fact does remain that they need a babysitter. He gives Brennan until the end of the day to find someone or he will. Among the best parts of this clip have to be Sweets' "oh" reactions. It's very clear which side he falls on.
The second Bones season 7 episode 11 clip (below) shows Booth, Brennan, and Hodgins at the crime scene. Once Brennan's done all she can until she's in the lab, she decides that's a good time to kiss Booth and tell him she trusts him and he's an excellent father. He points out where they are, but she just kisses him again ("I enjoyed the previous one so much that I wanted one more," she explains). When she's done, she says just that and walks away. Well, he's not done and he takes off after her. While Booth was obviously right that the crime scene wasn't the time or place for that, it's good seeing what has changed with the new relationship and Hodgins' reaction is amusing as he looks over the remains.
The third "The Family in the Feud" sneak peek (below) features Max Keenan and baby Christine. Booth is sure that Brennan will be fine with him watching Christine since he's family. He points out to Brennan when she gets home that they don't have anyone else. Once Max has left to change her diaper, Brennan argues that Max is the one who abandoned her as a child, but Booth is right when he tells her that Max loves her, something they can't find in a babysitter they're paying. Both Booth and Brennan have good arguments, but really, the best thing about this is that Ryan O'Neal is back.
In the fourth and final clip (below), Brennan and Max get the chance to have a family moment. It looks like Booth was right to have him come by. He's cooked, got Christine to nap by singing (in a nice parallel, Angela's father got Michael to sleep by playing music), and gave her a bath. He's good at this, and he tells Brennan that he's "walking the straight and narrow." She says that Christine's happy, and he attributes that to her having "a great mom." He's not just taking care of his granddaughter. He also asks his daughter about her work, and she tells him they're dealing with feuding families. Unfortunately, she's not getting enough from the bones. Family moments are always sweet, and it looks like after the ones with Parker in episode 10, "The Warrior in the Wuss," it's time for some with Brennan's side of the family.

Also, when you have such cute moments as the crime scene make out, why do fans still clamour to see B&B in bed together. We all know that they are sharing what seems to be a healthy sex life, baby permitting, and that they obviously love one another. Surely we are past this now with them. I am an older lady though, maybe that has something to do with it. Still love this show though. Keep it coming.
