where are the Coupons??

I wonder why? Where do you usually get yours from?

also I use the local krogers for some stuff, if you have a card you can download coupons on it,
yet like I say I work on cros references and paper hunting before we go,,

I've had better luck lately with my coupons, but the things I buy are produce mainly. I buy organic/vegetarian/natural products like almond milk, soy yogurt etc. and I've found a lot of their coupons lately.

We get coupons every Wednesday in the mail. Mostly P&G and Red Plum. With that being said, I don't use very many of them. Most of the coupons are for small amounts off 25 cents to 50 cents on products that are rather expensive. I buy alot of generic products. There are only a few things that I buy that are name brand these days. I buy name brand Scott toilet tissue 1000 (this lasts us alot longer than normal) when it is on sale I normally purchase 2 to 3 packages of it at that time. I hardly ever see coupons from Scott that include the 1000. They want you to purchase the "Extra Soft". I buy Dawn dishwashing detergent (it works best with our water) and P&G does have coupons but normally they are 25 cents off.... I find a sale and try to stock up with matching coupons. For our laundry detergent Keith just has to have Gain (when we can afford it). I find those coupons on occasion and try to only buy it when it is on sale and I have a coupon. If it is not on sale sometimes he just has to deal with a cheaper brand. I still clip coupons and hope for a sale that will save me money but it is fewer and further between these days. In some ways I blame that crazy couponing show. I think the coupons were better before that show aired... maybe it is just me but since that show I have noticed a change. The coupons are there but they are for less value. ( Am I the only one who feels this way?)

there seem to be fewer coupons lately----maybe it is due to the fact that there are so many extreme couponers out there...i had heard that the food companies and stores will be issuing fewer coupons, as they really lose money when the extreme couponers use hundresds of dollars in coupons.......just a thought

I'm having the same problem. Yeah, there are coupons, but not for the stuff I'm buying. Or, the coupons for stuff I buy are much farther in between these days. And stores are getting stricter about what they allow you to use thanks to the extreme couponing show. I also have a harder time finding any copies of the mid-week free paper that has coupons in it. :(

Have you tried contacting the companies that you would like the coupons for and see if they will send you some? I have done that several times by email and gotten several coupons.

I have noticed the same thing. I find very few coupons for the products I want to buy. The one exception is Olay. They always seem to have both coupons and rebates.

the bargains now a days are few and far between for sure! I always go for the store brand or generic if it's cheaper than the name brand even after sale and coupon. But like you said, there are fewer and fewer coupons out there for the items we actually buy.
