Many of the Real Housewives stars have used their Bravo reality television platform to do great things, including publishing books, launching other reality shows and even creating million-dollar business ventures. However, one former house-husband is thinking about taking his 15 minutes of fame to a whole new level. The former husband of Michaele is thinking about running for governor. According to Wetpaint Entertainment, Tareq, who crashed the White House party while being on the show, is thinking about running for governor of Virginia. Apparently, he plans to officially file his candidacy soon.
It is questionable just how effective he will be as a governor considering just how many troubles he has been in. As shown on The Real Housewives of D.C., he has some troubles with the vineyard he owned with his mother, he crashed the White House party and after the show ended, his wife ran away with a guitar legend without telling him that she was leaving him. Ouch!
So, he isn't exactly the person one would imagine running for office. "I am troubled to see how our current political figureheads continue to waste tax payer dollars," Tareq has told TMZ. "I'm a big believer in limited government, keeping taxes, regulations and litigation low, and if I do win, everyone is invited to crash the inauguration." So, he is planning on running for governor, so the public can crash the government. How nice!
