There seldom is. Back in the 1920's, Albert Fall, the Secretary of the Interior was convicted of receiving bribes, but the two businessmen who bribed him were found innocent of the charges. Go figure!

I always thought the Attorney General was the chief law enforcement officer in the land, appointed for honor and loyalty to the law. Instead we now have a political capo.

We always have had. Many of those crimes were committed in the period between 2001 and 2008 -- remember the crash started in 2008. How many were arrested?

I am not sure what the connection is here. George Will is seldom correct about anything, and he loves to leave out important facts -- like Illinois being third in the 50 States in job creation. But how does that connect with Wall Streeters breaking the law and not even being arrested?

Yes, and since the election of Reagen they have been doing a good job of that. Worse yet, many of everyone else have willingly accepted, even invited, it. Some of the people were raped, but for many it was consensual.
