Miley Cyrus may look great; and while her daily Pilates workouts may have a lot to do with her lean frame, her gluten-free diet might also be contributing. However, just because Miley has gone gluten-free, it doesn't mean it's right for everyone.
Most people eat a gluten-free diet because they suffer from some sort of food allergy and cannot ingest anything with gluten. But, since Miley announced she was on a gluten-free diet, it seems as though her fans want to follow suit...and it's not healthy.

"People who go on a Gluten-Free diet usually do it because of a chronic digestive disorder called celiac disease," said celebrity trainer Lalo Fuentes. "Some of the symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation and even unexplained weight loss. It is a pretty common disease affecting one in every 150 people in America."
But...
"Then we have other people who do it because everybody is doing it," he said. "They want to try something new. The misconception is that because something is gluten-free, it must be healthy and won't make you gain weight — which is wrong."
So, if you've decided to go gluten-free because you heard that Miley Cyrus is doing it and she looks fab -- think again! The diet might be perfect for Miley's lifestyle and health issues but not so great for yours.
