Lindsay Lohan is upset over Rosie O'Donnell's recent bashing of her. Rosie claimed disgust that Lindsay would be portraying film icon, Elizabeth Taylor. She also thinks the star needs to spend time putting her life back together before worrying about her career.
Sadly, she's not alone in those thoughts. Liz Taylor fans all over the world are upset by Lohan's casting as the star of Lifetime's Liz and Dick. In fact, the only ones who seem happy with the decision are Lindsay and the movie's producers. That means the former talk show host just put into words what thousands, maybe even millions of people are already thinking.
Still, one can understand Lohan's confusion and anger. She thought she had a good relationship with O'Donnell. They always spoke to one another at events. Plus, Rosie once invited the young version of Lindsay to her talk show. The redhead was just 12 at the time and out promoting her first film, Parent Trap.
With all of that history, Lindsay doesn't understand Rosie's need to put her down. However, she's just chalking it up to another among legions of Liz Taylor fans she will have to prove wrong. While Lohan's convinced she can do just that, the odds seem stacked against her. She's been unable to keep her nose clean, despite being given multiple chances by the court system.
If Lindsay Lohan is found liable in a recent hotel bar fight, she could find herself without the job of her dreams. Chances are Lifetime will only back up their star so far. If she continues to act the part of a wild child, her dream role could get flushed down the toilet.
