Beyonce is enjoying one of the best times of her life. She is still riding high on the joy of her first child and has managed to get her figure back in record time. Now, Queen Bey has been honored with the title of Most Beautiful Woman in the World for 2012 by People magazine.
In the accompanying interview, Beyonce says, "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth." Many women echo those sentiments. The singer gushes about her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, "She's just the cutest thing." Her newfound status as a mother has given Beyonce a new outlook on life, "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."
Prior to giving birth, Bey's main focuses in life were music and fashion, and of course her husband, Jay-Z. Throughout her pregnancy and immediately following delivery, the "Love on Top" singer is proving she is still a fashion icon, despite her status as a new mom. While most new mothers tend to keep it simple with clothing that is easily washed and inexpensive, Bey is not about to go that route. Why would she? She can buy 20 of the same garment without thinking twice.
As she adjusts to her more demanding role of motherhood, she is gearing up for her return to the stage this Memorial Day weekend. Do you think People got it right this year?
