Kim Kardashian by now is used to the accusations hurled her way from ex Kris Humphries and other naysayers of a fake wedding and a faux marriage, all for more fame, fortune, and the E! cameras. While she has strongly denied or ignored such claims throughout the divorce drama, the reality show star still cannot seem to get away from these type of allegations. Now that Kardashian is cozying up to good friend and new fling-of-the-moment Kanye West, there are still some who think she's again in it to win it—ratings and recognition, that is—rather than believing she may really be falling in love—again.
Kimye, the hip hot new name for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, were recently in New York City where they seemed to be quite fond of each other, strolling the streets with ice cream and hitting up a few parties of note, such as Kris and Bruce Jenner's anniversary party and the opening of Scott Disick's new restaurant. Even Khloe Kardashian apparently likes the rapper! While they may have been pulling out the PDA, body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass is not convinced at all.
"No matter what anyone says the body doesn't like," Glass told Hollywood Life. "Kanye and Kim may be holding hands and may be all smiles for the camera but the truth is they are looking in different directions which means they are not like-minded. There is too much physical space between them. When people are truly into one another you don't know where one ends and the other begins."
All interesting points from the good doctor, but they would be more compelling if Glass was basing them off of her real-time observations of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, rather than a photo of the pair. Instead it seems she's just basing her entire opinion on a picture, which is just one solitary moment captured and therefore probably not the greatest evidence of a couple's relationship.
Still, Dr. Lillian Glass continued, "There is a stiffness in Kim's body language. You don't feel the chemistry between the two of them... While there may be a lot of lust going on behind closed doors, the emotional and mental connection required in a deep relationship seems to be lacking in my view."
Well, only time, and perhaps a few scenes on Keeping up with the Kardashians, will tell if Kimye are the real deal, or if they're turning on the sizzle for a total E! reality show-mance. Hopefully, though, Kim keeps her romance with Kanye a bit more separate from the small screen—if she really wants to create a happily ever after!
