Romney Nomination in doubt - Brokered...

April 24, 2012. Des Moines. Two networks yesterday, CNBC and MSNBC, broadcast a little known fact â€“ Ron Paul appears to be winning the Republican nomination for President. When the popular Texas Congressman repeatedly assured supporters that the race was about delegates, not beauty contests, he apparently knew what he was talking about. Now, after three more states locked in delegates to the GOP nominating convention â€“ CO, MN and IA â€“ indicators point to a brokered convention with a possible, even probable, Ron Paul victory. The brain-off GOP numbnuts will be scrambling... in 2008, they did everything the could to stop the very few delegates Ron Paul had - we know how to handle it better now...

I thought this might be a spoof, but I can't find any evidence for that idea. It's definitely 2012.

That's because they don't know yet - they just guess and then call the rest 'uncommitted' ... *grin

Don't forget about the 'super delegates' that can change their pledge as many times as they want before the convention, not to mention that the rules are completely different in each state. It's a mess. But it's an exciting mess :)

So why should I be thinking about voting for Ron Paul? I'm thrilled with his aggressive push to end the so-called Federal Reserve, but beyond that I'm only generally familiar with positions that I don't care for.
