More scare stories from warmegedisnests that doesn't hold water.
Since a scientific paper was published on the disappearing lake in 2008, researchers have known that the seasonal lakes that form on the ice are capable of “catastrophic drainage.”
This has been known long before 2008 , 1979 to be exact, well that's when records of melt water in Greenland were first recorded for posterity.

Of course, the more savvy of us always new that this melt water happens year in year out when summer begins and will be far greater when the Artic warms with the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation just like it’s always has done for thousands of years.

...Versus...
A rather bizarre suggestion that the article you linked somehow discounts that research. In fact, it highlights it. Perhaps you need to find someone who can explain this stuff to you. That way you wouldn't be so confused.
Of course, the more savvy of us...
The "more savvy?" You plagiarize blogs and cite fossil fuel funded lobbyist propaganda.
always new that this melt water happens year in year out when summer begins and will be far greater when the Artic warms with the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation just like it’s always has done for thousands of years.
So you admit you didn't read the article.
And you got that line from C3 Headlines, a non-science blog set up by lobbyists to misrepresent the science.
Yep, pretty "savvy."
So going to your C3 Headlines blog we find that the source of your misrepresented "information" is, what's this, the World Climate Report. Oooh, sounds impressive, doesn't it. Except that it is the blog of Pat Michaels, who has admitted that he receives his funding from the fossil fuel industry. The Pat Michaels who is employed by the non-science libertarian lobbyist organization The Cato Institute, which also publishes his anti-climate change propaganda books. The Pat Michaels who routinely "hides data" that he finds inconvenient and has been caught time after time misrepresenting other scientists.
"Savvy?"
Perhaps you should spend less time trying to be "savvy" through plagiarizing lobbyist blogs and more time actually trying to become informed about the science.
Just a thought.
