Is Noah Wyle, former star of the hit TV show E.R., following in the footsteps of his former E.R. co-star, George Clooney? Wyle was arrested in Washington, D.C. on Monday during a protest urging Congress not to cut Medicaid. George Clooney was arrested outside the Sudan embassy in Washington, D.C. several weeks ago for taking part in an anti-Sudan protest.
According to a report from People.com, Wyle played the part of Dr. John Carter on E.R. He and members of a group called ADAPT were handcuffed and hauled away from the Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill.
George Clooney was out of jail just a couple of hours following his arrest and paid just a mere $100 in bail. Will Noah Wyle be nearly as lucky as his former co-star was?
It's admirable to see big Hollywood stars use their power and their celebrity to go to bat for worthy causes. Are you impressed to see people like George Clooney and Noah Wyle as activists in Washington, D.C.?
