Brendel watches TV

We were watching “Cats 101” on Animal Planet over the weekend.

Of course our cat Brendel was also watching. Apparently my lap was not close enough for her.

She decided to jump about five feet straight up to get a closer view of the cats. Brendel is a fairly small cat but she is a jumper.

I have learned to always keep my camera closeby. I grabbed it and clicked away.

The funniest part was when I downloaded the photos. I had no idea she was looking eye to eye with the (hairless) cat.

The next photo was really comical. It was as if the cat on TV was looking right at Brendel.

So much entertainment without leaving the comfort of my living room.

Challenge: Post stories, picture essays, peoms and anything else you wish so long as it has to do with cats.

Those cats freak me out a bit. I always think of fur as part of the "cat essence." Without it, they look like naked mole rats.

So funny Carol. I have downloaded a couple of Friskie apps for the iPad but neither cat was interested ):
I remember when the kids were little, we had a cat that loved to chase the packman figures around the TV screen and get in the way on a few other games also, but I've never had a cat that like to watch TV.

This is my first cat to watch TV. Momma Kitty could have cared less about it. Brendel looks up at the screen when she walks by the TV. If it's off, she looks at me, as if to say turn it on. She is very entertaining.

Kevin, It was even funnier in person. She stayed close to the screen for several minutes, even watching the commercials.

Brendel has beautiful markings, reminding me somewhat of Isis, a cat my daughters had years ago.

LOL. I saw that episode of Cats 101. My kitties were not interested. Great shots. She is very interested in that tv. Maybe she wants to meet that cat.
