Do Not Eat The Fish. The fish in the Gulf are not safe. The article I read was off the wire, no author's name. Fishing boat was way out in the deep water. They caught unusual looking Red Snapper. They had torn or missing fins, a black sreak across theur bodies, INFECTED bite marks from scavengers. They suspect that the black streaks are from the oil spill. They brought all the unusual looking fish back to shore.
Looks like another bad year for the fishermen. They suspect serious damage to the feeding ground of the fish, that is seaweed and the coral. I am so glad that they brought back the unusual looking fish. It proves that the woman scientist was right in her prediction that the fish should not be eaten.
My biggest concern is all the permits to drill in the ocean for oil. We do not need this much oil unless you are planning to deny future generations of oil. Right now we have the largest oil field in the world in the states. Why are so many foreign countries bidding to drill on our coastline?
The millionaires are getting richer while the fishermen and their families will go hungry.

But I wonder why we are getting it from other countries--hadn't thought or known that other countries were bidding to drill here.
I know we have to have oil here----I live in Kansas, and although half of the oil rigs you see along the highway aren't pumping, the other half are. I know there is also oil in Texas and Oklahoma.
