Ted Nugent has agreed to plead guilty in the illegal killing of a bear which was captured by a camera crew. It appears that this man just has no respect for anyone but himself what with the veiled threat-like comments he made about Obama recently. The U.S. Army doesn't want him playing for their troops either. Good.
So what about this illegal bear killing? It's reported that Ted Nugent knowingly killed and illegally transported a bear against the Lacey Act in southeast Alaska in 2009. He's agreed to pay a $10,000.00 fine as well as serve two years probation. During this time he will not be allowed to legally hunt in the state of Alaska or on federal forest lands. To add a little bit of a deeper bruise to the Nugent's ego, he must record a PSA about the importance of hunters following the rules of the land on which they hunt. This PSA must play during each airing of his television program. This isn't the first time he's been in trouble for disobeying hunting laws. What a goof!
It serves him right for disrespectfully choosing to disobey the laws of the land he was using for his hunt and outdoor television show. It's on camera what he did so there was no backing out of it. What's interesting is that this is just now coming up after the whole Obama threat thing, so do you think the agents he spoke to about his mistake had anything to do with it?
